Ali Budgell, BVetMed, MRCVS, qualified from the RVC in 1989. After a year in New Zealand and 10 years in small animal practice, she joined the Baptist Missionary Society, working for a time in Democratic Republic of the Congo.

Since returning to the UK, she has been working part-time at a small animal practice in the New Forest and part-time as secretary for the Veterinary Christian Fellowship.
