Purina Veterinary Technical Manager UK & Ireland

Ellie is the Veterinary Technical Manager at Purina Petcare. She graduated from Cambridge University in 2013 and worked in first opinion small animal veterinary practice before joining Purina. She has co-founded a cross-business initiative to drive advanced nutritional training, delivers training to veterinary practices and has set up a veterinary technical helpline for clinicians in practice.

She gained a certificate in Small Animal Nutrition in 2022 and, along with presenting nutritional podcasts for pet owners and veterinary professionals, she writes regularly for a number of veterinary journals and magazines. Her aim is to ensure that there is a greater understanding of clinical nutrition in veterinary practices to increase confidence when discussing nutrition.

Dr Libby Sheridan MVB, MSc, MRCVS

Purina Scientific Affairs Manager for the UK & Ireland

Libby graduated from Dublin vet school and after 10 years working in mixed and small animal practice, she entered industry working in pet nutrition. She then set up and ran her own company Mojo Consultancy, specialising in technical communications, PR and project management, before joining Purina Petcare in 2018 as Scientific Affairs Manager for the UK & Ireland in 2018.

In 2022, she gained a Masters in Health Care Management examining organisational transformation, professional decision making and global leadership, with her major project examining attitudinal enablers and barriers to telemedicine in human primary care practice..
