The VMD has issued a product defect alert for IsoFlo 100% w/w Inhalation Vapour Liquid and Isothesia 1000mg/g Inhalation Vapour Liquid, manufactured by Zoetis UK.

A statement reads: “The VMD wishes to make wholesale dealers and veterinary surgeons aware we have issued a class two recall of the veterinary anaesthetic products:

  • IsoFlo 100% w/w Inhalation Vapour Liquid Vm 42058/4195
  • Isothesia 1000mg/g Inhalation Vapour Liquid Vm 42058/4197

“Re-sealed bottles may not be airtight due to a defect with the metal cap thread. Batches with an expiry date of 31 May 2021 or later are not affected by the recall.”
