A team of veterinary professionals proved their mettle by taking on a muddy challenge to raise money for charity.
In total, 20 vets, vet nurses and receptionists from the Wheelhouse Veterinary Centre in south Buckinghamshire took part in a 10.5-mile Tough Mudder challenge.
The mud-filled obstacle course saw the team members clamber over 10ft fences, pull each other out of pools of ice and tackle live electrical wires as part of a team building exercise they will never forget.
Face their fears
Director Anna Wardle said: “The whole team helped each other face their worst fears and have come out the other side feeling stronger and more united than ever before.
“For the team at the Wheelhouse Veterinary Centre, anything seems possible now. Plans for completing a second Tough Mudder in 2017 are already in place.”
Tough Mudder raises money for Help For Heroes, which supports wounded service personnel and their families.
