Veterinary wholesaler and diagnostics consultancy Vetsonic has appointed two new managers.
Animal health industry stalwart Stuart Wilson (pictured) has been named as the Yorkshire company’s new marketing director. He has worked in veterinary supplies since joining The Veterinary Drug Company (now Henry Schein) in 1965, and helped form the Vet Drug Instrument Dept. which later became Animal Care. Following stints at Cox Surgical and Kruuse, Mr Wilson retired in April 2013.
However, he claimed retirement was “not as exciting as I thought”, and jumped at the invitation to work with Vetsonic.
Meanwhile, Stuart Wade has joined the company as marketing development manager. Mr Wade started his industry career in 1983 at Willington Medicals, where he worked for six years before joining Univet (now Vetoquinol).
Following nearly three decades at the company, he has now joined Vetsonic with the remit of developing the company’s Nutriscience range within the UK small animal market.
