Regan Veterinary Group received the official seal of approval with a visit from the mayor and mayoress of Bolton.
To celebrate 30 years of caring for the town’s pets, the dignitaries were invited to the Bury Road surgery. The practice was established in 1984 and now employs more than 60 staff.
Mayor Martin Donaghy and mayoress Jacqueline Tracey, were met by admin coordinator Lisa Coulborn and customer care and marketing coordinator Alison Holt. They were given a tour of the practice that Regan moved into following extensive refurbishment in November 2012. They stayed to cut the anniversary cake and chat with staff.
Councillor Donaghy said: “We are very pleased to have been invited here today and congratulate Regan on its 30 years. We have enjoyed the tour around the surgery. We didn’t realise how much was involved when treating and caring for pets. As councillor for Tonge and The Haulgh, I have never been in the building. Now I have been, I am very impressed – it’s like a mini-hospital.
“Both myself and the mayoress wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Regan to any pet owner.”
In February, Regan won a “most loved” business award in the Best Vets category of the Local and Loved awards.
