Ceva Animal Health has expanded its Meloxidyl range for cats with a 5ml size.

The new Meloxidyl 5ml bottle.

Meloxidyl oral suspension for cats is easy to administer and contains active ingredient meloxicam for the alleviation of pain and inflammation. It is licensed for treatment of musculoskeletal disorders and alleviation of postoperative pain.

Post-surgery

Ceva said the new bottle size will provide more prescription options for veterinary practices stocking 15ml bottles.

Additionally, the company says, the bottle is the perfect post-surgery size to send patients home with, while the brown colour makes it easier for owners to see how much liquid is left.

Win a BSAVA manual

To support the launch of Ceva’s 5ml Meloxidyl presentation, the company is running a competition to win one of five copies of the BSAVA Manual of Canine and Feline Anaesthesia and Analgesia. To enter, answer the following question:

How many millilitres are in the new Meloxidyl cat bottle?

Email your answer, along with your contact details, to analgesics-group@ceva.com and include “Meloxidyl competition” in the subject line.
