Vets Now is holding an open evening for veterinary professionals in theSalisbury area, ahead of the launch of a new service in the new year.
The out-of-hours emergency provider, which has 34 clinics across the UK, is holding an open evening on Tuesday (August 4).
Vets Now works in partnership with more than 400 veterinary practices across the country to provide emergency care for animals at nights, weekends and bank holidays.
The new Salisbury clinic will be based at the Endell Veterinary Group, 49 Endless Street, Salisbury, and will provide out-of-hours emergency services to practices in Wiltshire.
Speaking about the move to open a clinic in Salisbury, Richard Dixon, Vets Now’s founder and group managing director, said: “It is a fact of life that some pets will take ill or have an accident outside normal veterinary practice hours. By working in partnership with daytime practices in Salisbury, we can ensure that their clients have access to a dedicated emergency service for their pets out of hours, and relieve them of the pressure of having to deal with middle-of-the-night emergencies.
Vets Now is inviting veterinary professionals in the area to its open evening, which takes place at the Endell Veterinary Group on Tuesday between 7.30pm and 9pm. The open evening will be an opportunity for veterinary professionals to meet the team and find out more about how Vets Now partners with veterinary practices. It is also a chance to view the facilities and explore some of the career opportunities Vets Now offers.
Anyone interested in attending should RSVP to firstname.lastname@example.org or telephone 01383 627611.
