Veterinary students in the UK and Ireland have a unique opportunity to experience BSAVA Congress for free to benefit from the dedicated student lectures and networking opportunities.
Applications are now open to the bursary, which offers 50 places to BSAVA student members in their final or penultimate year of study.
Along with free congress entry, the lucky students will get a chance to network with other students and members of the veterinary profession at a special evening reception on Thursday 7 April 2016, along with participating in a dedicated congress student stream on Friday 8 April.
To assist students with accommodation and transport the bursary also offers £200 support.
Penny Watson, BSAVA student rep at the University of Cambridge, said: “I’m delighted BSAVA is showing a continued commitment to nurturing the future of our profession.
“The students who have attended congress from the University of Cambridge in the past have really enjoyed the lectures and, of course, the opportunity to meet their colleagues from other vet schools. We hope as many students as possible will take advantage of this fantastic opportunity.”
Application is quick and easy, and BSAVA student members can apply online at www.bsavacongress.com/students before the closing date of 14 December. Any students who are not members can apply for free at www.bsava.com/membership
