Animal health company Norbrook has announced it has appointed the Sisk Group’s Liam Nagle as its new chief executive.
Mr Nagle joins Norbrook – which is present in 115 countries with sales of £210m – after being chief executive at Sisk; however, he was most latterly chairman of the group’s construction and health care businesses.
Norbrook chairman Roy McNulty said the company was “delighted” to welcome Mr Nagle.
“He brings a wide range of skills and experience that will be of great benefit to the team in Norbrook,” he said. “The company has a strong track record of innovation and growth and we look forward to working with Liam in making the most of the opportunities we see ahead.”
Deputy chairman Lady Ballyedmond, meanwhile, welcomed the appointment.
“I am very pleased Liam is joining us and I am sure, with his leadership and energy, we can together create a further successful phase in Norbrook’s development.”
Mr Nagle said he was “honoured” to be offered the chief executive role.
“The business is in an excellent position and I am excited about working with the team to build on its success and take the business to even greater heights,” he said.
