White Lodge Veterinary Clinic will be launching a new state-of-the-art farm and equine treatment centre in Somerset this spring.

The clinic, which has practices in Williton and Minehead, will open its new centre in early April.

The nine-vet clinic works with all creatures great and small, from companion animals to farm breeds to equines and zoo animals.

Vet Tom Gliddon, who specialises in farm and equine animals and has been on the RCVS’ examiners’ panel for the postgraduate certificate in Equine Practice, said: “Our Farm and Equine Veterinary Clinic has been built from scratch during the past six months and we’re putting together the finishing touches on the interior.

“Anyone driving in and out of Minehead recently will, I am sure, have seen it taking shape as the site is next to the main road near the Ellicombe roundabout.

“It promises to be a very exciting venture for us and we’re looking forward to the official opening when we’ll be hosting an open day for visitors to have a look around.

“The unit has been long anticipated and we hope it will enable us to offer a more focused and efficient service for our farm and equine clients.”
