Qualified vet Ben Sullivan has joined diagnostic imaging company BCF Technology to help develop learning materials, and run and support training courses for veterinary professionals.

Mr Sullivan said: “BCF are committed to providing training and learning around ultrasound and X-ray, helping vets to make the most out of this equipment. This is why BCF employs its own clinical training team, including vets like myself and Hannah Yeates, and our radiographer Kat Evans.

“Our aim is to develop learning materials, and run and support training courses that people will find helpful in developing their skills and confidence in veterinary imaging.”

Since graduating from Bristol University in 2005 Mr Sullivan gained 6 years’ experience in mixed practice in various places in SW England, worked at a mixed practice and equine stud practice in New Zealand and, for the past 18 months, has been working in referral equine practice at Western Counties Equine Hospital in Devon.

He said: “I have a keen interest in imaging and am currently enrolled in the RCVS CertAVP programme in Veterinary Diagnostic Imaging.”

BCF managing director Gavin Mitchell said: “We are delighted that Ben has joined us and look forward to continuing our aim of helping vets to maximise their opportunities with diagnostic imaging. Learning is one of our key values as a company, and this is demonstrated by our commitment to employ our own in-house clinical team.”
