Peter Jeffries has been appointed to the board of Moredun Scientific as a non-executive director.
Mr Jeffries graduated as a vet from the University of Liverpool in 1980 and gained a Master of Science degree in fish disease at the University of Stirling. He spent several years in dairy practice in England before moving to industry.
He has worked in the animal health industry for more than 20 years, with corporate roles in strategy, global marketing, global technical support and business development. He spent 18 years with Merial in Africa, France and the US before moving to Pfizer Animal Health (now Zoetis) to lead the business development and external alliances group. He is currently chief executive of GALVmed.
