A series of videos has been created to inform pet owners about the best methods of treating flea and tick infestations.
Presenter of ITV’s This Morning Ruth Langsford teamed up with a Merial vet to create the videos, which celebrate the bond between owners and their pets.
Topics include how to treat pets correctly using Frontline Spot On, advice on how to protect pets and homes against fleas and ticks, and how to keep pets healthy and happy in the summer months.
With an investment of more than £1 million, the activity is spearheaded by a new television advertisement launching this month that will appear during prime time slots on major channels.
To support the new television advertisement, further investment has been made online via video on demand, targeted digital media, YouTube and through a partnership with Hearst Magazines UK. A new pet owner website has also been developed to further educate and support pet owners when it comes to fleas and ticks.
Offline, a national magazine campaign will commence in August, with placement in well-known titles such as Good Housekeeping, Prima, Country Living and House Beautiful.
Frontline Spot On brand manager Brock Abreu said: “This heavyweight investment indicates our ongoing commitment to pet health and reinforces how vital it is for owners to treat their pets monthly with Frontline Spot On.
“As the country’s number one flea and tick protection* our aim is to encourage best practice and ensure owners are fully aware of the dangers fleas and ticks can bring. We’re delighted to be working with Ruth Langsford, who, as a dog owner herself, understands the importance of pet health.”
