Nominations for Petplan’s Veterinary Awards 2015 will close on January 16, 2015.
Anyone wishing to shine a light on the outstanding work of staff at their local vet surgery should visit the awards section of the Petplan website to make their nomination.
Returning for the 16th year, the awards recognise members of the veterinary profession who have gone above and beyond in their daily roles.
James Barnes, Petplan’s head of sales and partnerships, said: “These awards are a great way to show support for our fantastic staff and colleagues in a high-profile way.
“In such a busy industry it can be easy to feel hard work is sometimes overlooked, so these awards really do provide an opportunity to be vocal about our appreciation for our co-workers in the veterinary sector.
“Being nominated is not only beneficial for team morale, but also for public recognition – customers love to know their pets are being looked after by truly dedicated veterinary staff. So, if you know a shining star within your surgery, make sure you get online and nominate.”
Last year, Petplan received more than 12,000 nominations, with every nominee receiving a certificate of recognition for his or her hard work. This year, nominations for all categories – which include Vet of the Year, Vet Nurse of the Year, Practice of the Year, Practice Support Staff of the Year, Practice Manager of the Year and Petplan Insurance Advisor of the Year – can be made at the awards section of the Petplan website.
After voting closes, the winners will be announced at the awards ceremony on April 9, 2015.
