CPD provider Improve International is set to launch new offices in Australia and New Zealand this autumn.

Flo Herald The new centres, due to open in September 2013, will offer a range of one and two-year modular postgraduate programmes, from bases in Melbourne, Brisbane, Sydney and Auckland.

The courses will also be suitable for Antipodean vets wishing to study for a postgraduate examination, such as the Membership of the Australian and New Zealand College of Veterinary Scientists (MANZCVS).

Improve International’s expansion is being managed by Sydney-based vet Flo Herold.

Commenting on the launch, he said: “We’re launching our programmes in Australia and New Zealand because we see a need for structured, more in-depth training to support vets in practice.

“While both countries already have an accepted middle tier qualification in the form of the MANZCVS, there are currently no face-to-face training courses to help vets in their studies.

“We believe our training will fill this current gap giving vets the knowledge and skills to take the next step up in their careers.”

Improve International in Australia and New Zealand will be enrolling students from the end of August 2013, with courses due to start in March 2014.
