The search for the UK’s greatest animal charity team, employee and volunteer has begun, as nominations for the Petplan and ADCH Animal Charity Awards 2015 are now open.

“If you have encountered true devotion to the improvement of animal welfare, vote today.”

Now in their third year, the awards celebrate and reward the hard work and dedication of those who go above and beyond in their mission to rescue and rehome animals in need.

Conceived by Petplan and the Association of Dogs and Cats Homes (ADCH) in order to recognise incredible enthusiasm and commitment to improving animal welfare, the Animal Charity Awards focus on three key categories:

  • Volunteer of the Year
  • Employee of the Year
  • Team of the Year

James Barnes, Petplan’s head of sales and partnerships said: “Last year we received more than 5,500 nominations from adopters, charity staff and volunteers. We would love to exceed that number this year, so if you have encountered true devotion to the improvement of animal welfare, vote today.”

Making a nomination is straightforward – simply visit www.petplan.co.uk/charityawards and tell Petplan why your inspirational nominee deserves to win.

The deadline for nominations is February 13, 2015, and winners will be announced at the Petplan and ADCH Animal Charity Awards, which will take place at the Bournemouth International Centre (BIC) on April 22, 2015.
