One of the world’s most eminent experts on dermatology will be among speakers at the 2015 British Small Animal Veterinary Association (BSAVA) Congress in April.

Danny Scott, professor of medicine and co-chief of the dermatology service at Cornell University will speak at BSAVA Congress in April.

Danny Scott, professor of medicine and co-chief of the dermatology service at Cornell University in New York, will be presenting lectures entitled “Tetracyclines and niacinamide in canine dermatology” and “Managing the cat with atopic dermatitis”.

Dr Scott has produced more than 620 publications and presented in nearly 450 continuing education programmes around the world.

His duties at Cornell University include teaching veterinary students in the clinics and classroom, mentoring residents in dermatology and pathology, offering a telephone consultation service for regional practitioners, diagnostic dermatopathology and clinical research.

BSAVA Congress will be held in Birmingham from Thursday, April 9 to Sunday, April 12. Dr Scott’s lectures take place on the Thursday.
