Red Nose Day 2015 is upon us, and we at vetsonline would love to hear if your practice staff are up to anything weird or wacky to help raise funds for this fantastic charity event.
The nation is gearing up for a spectacular night of top telly treats in the name of Red Nose Day as Comic Relief – Face the Funny broadcasts live, for the first time ever, from the London Palladium.
The star-studded evening of comedy will be presented by a stellar line-up of TV favourites including John Bishop, Lenny Henry, Davina McCall and Claudia Winkleman, who will entertain the nation throughout this epic night.
The night include guest spots by the world’s most famous secret agent (yes, Daniel Craig has been given a licence to thrill viewers in a special one-off James Bond sketch) and comedy legend David Walliams, who will reprise his iconic character Lou for the exclusive return of Little Britain with a very special guest – Prof Stephen Hawking.
Other guests – many of whom will be giving live stand-up performances – include Eddie Izzard, Cardinal Burns, Peter Kay and Sarah Millican.
Additional highlights will include the climactic finale of The People’s Strictly, and – over on BBC Two – a special edition of The Great British Bake Off: An Extra Slice.
But are YOU doing something funny for money?
Whether you’re baking some red nose cupcakes, wearing something funny to work or performing something funny for your colleagues and clients, we want to know. Obviously, photographic evidence is more than welcome, and pictures can be emailed to email@example.com or posted to our Facebook page.
However, if all that frivolity is a bit much for you, at least drop into Sainsbury’s, Oxfam, TK Maxx, or visit www.rednoseday.com to purchase some of the fantastic merchandise on sale (including a traditional red noses). This year, you can also purchase red nose pens at Ryman, a Red Nose Day teapot at Robert Dyas and a red nose for your car at Toyota dealerships.
