A UK-based global cat charity has recognised the brightest and best feline veterinary products, innovations and individual champions.
The International Cat Care (iCatCare) Easy To Give awards took place at the giddy heights of the 29th floor of the Millbank Tower in London on September 6, 2013.
The event, originally devised to celebrate new veterinary products that were made more palatable to cats, or easier to administer, now includes awards for outstanding people within the cat welfare world, as well as innovative care products and the winners of iCatCare’s annual photography competition.
iCatCare chief executive Claire Bessant said: “When we started the awards in 2005 it was very difficult to get medicines into cats, but we’re getting there now and we’re really moving forward on it.
“And the Cat Friendly Awards are about welfare, wellbeing and what we can do to help cats feel better generally.”
