Nicolas Cousseau has been appointed pig and poultry expert at Ceva Animal Health to support the expansion of its large animal business unit.

Nicolas Cousseau joins Ceva as Pig and Poultry expert.

Mr Cousseau joined the team on April 1 to further the company’s development of the UK market in line with its worldwide expertise in the pig and poultry business.

Brendan Emery, previously Livestock Business Unit manager in the UK, has taken on the new role of ruminant business unit manager.

Mr Cousseau was a farm consultant at the French Chamber of Agriculture before obtaining a Masters degree in Quality Management in Animal Production from the National Veterinary School in Lyons.

He has worked for Ceva Animal Health for the past ten years, initially in industrial production in France and more recently in Budapest as country manager.

Mr Cousseau said: ‘‘Ceva is a global expert in the pig and poultry industry and the restructuring of our large animal business will give stronger direction, focus and delivery to the fast-growing UK market. I am looking forward to the new challenge, not only professionally, but also on the communication side with my original French accent.”
