Viewers watched a series of candidates being put through their paces by managing director Tracey Morley Jewkes and practice manager Val Marsh on the show that aired on 19 July.

The receptionist role was awarded to Emily Slepertas from Tipton, who said: “I was absolutely delighted to be offered the job and have loved joining the Blacks Vets family. Everyone has been so friendly and welcoming and the training has been second to none. I’m confident I’ve made a really positive move.”

Roles were also offered to candidates Nicola Harris and David Barnett, who are working in animal nursing and veterinary care.

Immensely proud

Speaking about the company’s experience Tracey Morley Jewkes added: “When we were approached by Label1 we knew this was too good an opportunity to miss to help promote the great work we do with pets and present Blacks Vets to a wider audience.

“We are immensely proud of our Black Country roots and are always looking for hard working and enthusiastic people to join our exceptional team. We are thrilled we could give roles to not one, but three applicants.”

  • The episode featuring Blacks Vets is available on catch-up channel 4seven and the Channel 4 website for a limited time.
