BEVA is offering discounts of up to £105 for those booking tickets to congress 2014 before August 5.
The event, which will be held from September 10 to 13 at the ICC in central Birmingham, has an extensive CPD programme combining world-class science and innovation with day-to-day practical themes.
This year’s scientific programme is spread over three days, with five separate programmes running concurrently in five adjacent halls. The overriding theme for the event is a pragmatic approach to evidence-based medicine in an imperfect equine world, with the aim of making content as applicable and useful as possible to vets in practice.
Stephen May, vice principal of the RVC, will be giving the plenary lecture, taking a candid look at education: past, present and future. There will be two political/ethical discussions again this year.
On the Thursday BEVA President Paul Jepson will chair the provocatively entitled Welfare charities at home and abroad: money well spent? On the Friday the controversial subject of medication and horse meat will be debated under the title We can’t have our drugs and eat them.
The free BEVA Congress App makes it easy to view the full scientific programme, plan your day, view exhibitors information, keep up to date with events news and interact via Facebook and Twitter. To download search for Eventflo in the Apple or Android store and choose BEVA Congress 2014.
