Suffolk-based Central College of Animal Studies (CCOAS) has announced a dedicated animal behaviour CPD day.
The Companion Animal Behaviour Workshop will take place at the college’s Bury St Edmunds headquarters on February 26, 2014.
The event will feature presentations from behaviourists Karen Wild and Loni Loftus, as well as RVN Vicky Halls, with topics including behavioural first-aid, client perceptions of behaviour problems
and an effective team approach to behaviour cases.
A CCOAS spokesman said: “The course is ideal for veterinary surgeons, veterinary nurses and those with an interest in behaviour. The professional development course will explore the role of the veterinary practice in animal behaviour, the education of clients in behavioural issues, commonly reported behaviour problems and house soiling in cats. As well as presentations from companion animal behaviour experts, the workshop also provides delegates with opportunities for open discussions and networking.”
Registration costs £155. For more information and to book, telephone 01359 243405 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
