Agria Pet Insurance will raise the level of annual maximum veterinary fees cover on all of its lifetime insurance policies.

Benefits increased on Agria’s lifetime cover products.

For the firm’s highest level cat and dog policies, the annual maximum veterinary fees benefit will rise to £12,500 and now includes a contribution towards preventive care costs each year.

Vet’s fees benefit increases to £6,500 for Agria’s other lifetime policy, while other elements of the policies are set to rise as well, including third-party liability cover, which will increase to up to £3m and £2m respectively.

These changes will be available to Agria’s existing customers when their policies renew.

Since joining the UK pet insurance market in 2009, Agria has experienced consistent growth.

Wendy Roberts, claims manager at Agria Pet Insurance, said: “We see first-hand the continual advancements in veterinary diagnoses and treatments and the associated larger bills.”
