About this course

Professor Feldman DVM, DACVIM is Emeritus Professor of Small Animal Internal Medicine at the Department of Medicine & Epidemiology, School of Veterinary Medicine, University of California, Davis. He will be lecturing on Canine Cushing’s syndrome on 18 November 2016 at the Excel Centre in a session we have arranged exclusively for past and present delegates of Improve International.

This is a unique opportunity to hear from one of the world’s leading authorities on the diagnosis and treatment of this challenging condition and we do hope you will be able to join us.


Session 1 – 9.00 – 10.15am – The diagnosis of Canine Cushing’s syndrome

Session 2 – 10.45 – 12.00noon – The treatment of Canine Cushing’s syndrome

Learning objectives:
• Should we still be using the ACTH stimulation test?
• How can we discriminate PDH from FAT and why is this important?
• What are the downsides to treating Cushings?
• How should we treat and monitor these cases in a safe and effective way?
