About this course
Tortoises, especially Mediterranean species, are one of the most commonly kept reptile types and are frequently presented to general practitioners Anorexia is one of the most common of these presentations. This talk will cover the husbandry of these species and the factors that may result in anorexia. it will also cover the clinical approach including imaging, sampling and clinical pathology. It will also cover the needs of these species in the hospital situation as most of these cases will require a period of hospitalisation.
