Essential radiography for the general practitioner
An interactive day with delegates viewing thoracic, abdominal, skeletal and other radiographs relevant to the first opinion practitioner with the help of the lecturers. This course is aimed at giving the general practitioner a good foothold of the principles of radiological interpretation. It is designed to inspire confidence in the acquisition and interpretation of abdominal and radiographic studies. The course will be heavily practical based, in order for delegates to get as much as possible out of the day, in an enjoyable and relaxed environment. Information on basic principles of image acquisition will be discussed, as well as the approach to interpretation of the thorax and the abdomen, with plenty of examples of common pathological presentations. Delegates will be given the opportunity to read films in a friendly and practical environment, so that they can fine-tune their interpretation skills, with help from specialists.
Please note: Delegates will need to bring their own laptops. If this is not possible please contact us in the first instance.
