BEVA – Dermatology Core Skills Workshop
Slad Lane, Speen
Delegates attending the meeting will learn how to approach and investigate skin conditions of the horse, they should be able to develop a rational method and understand what diagnostic tests would be of value in diagnosing skin conditions. They will also learn how to perform the relevant diagnostic tests. This will lead to an accurate diagnosis of the condition and in turn appropriate therapy can be applied. The afternoon discussions will allow problem conditions to be discussed with a review of treatments currently being employed with emphasis on evidence based responses. When delegates leave the meeting they should not be afraid to visit a dermatological case in their practice but have the confidence to approach it with renewed knowledge.
Delegates are encouraged to send in details of clinical cases prior to this meeting, to be included within the discussion. Clinical case submission can be emailed to email@example.com
