0943 Arthroscopy for Beginners
The elbow and shoulder are the most common sites of pathology associated with cases of thoracic limb lameness. In the past few years there has been a significant advancement in the instrumentation and equipment available for arthroscoping these relatively small joints which has led to a rapid increase in the use of arthroscopy as both a diagnostic and surgical tool. On this highly practical course you’ll be taught techniques to improve your decision making in cases of thoracic limb lameness and gain a practical introduction to using arthroscopy in the canine elbow and shoulder joint. This is a small group course due to its highly practical nature. No previous experience with arthroscopy is required although the course would benefit those with some experience who wish to improve their technique.
