Claire Bloor

Claire Bloor.Claire Bloor MA Ed, BSC(Hons)VN, RVN, PGCE, QTLS, CertVN(Dent), qualified as a veterinary nurse in 2003, when she also graduated with a first class honours degree in veterinary nursing from Myerscough College and the University of Central Lancashire. She then worked in practice until the end of 2005, when she completed a BVNA Veterinary Nurse Certificate in Dentistry.
Claire still works in an emergency practice at weekends. In 2006, she accepted the full-time post of veterinary nursing lecturer at Myerscough College, where she teaches to all levels of SVN – from the further education level three diploma nurses to the degrees – and the higher education Diploma in Clinical Veterinary Nursing/RCVS Diploma in Advanced Veterinary Nursing.
Claire completed a master’s degree in education (research) in 2011, and has started studying for a professional doctorate in education. Some of her favourite subjects include anatomy, as well as physiology, surgical nursing and diagnostic imaging.
