Member practices of independent veterinary group XLVets have launched a health care scheme for pet owners.

New scheme shows benefits of working together.

The Lifetime Care Club is open to owners of dogs, cats and rabbits. It will provide regular health assessments, annual vaccinations, flea and worming treatments, free microchipping and treatment discounts.

Ann Mottram
, XLVets small animal brand manager, said: “Developed by XLVets members in collaboration, to help practices deliver a high quality of veterinary care, the Lifetime Care Club offers clients year-round pet health care, administered by a direct debit scheme.”

XLVets member practice Wright and Morten, of Macclesfield, Cheshire has been running its health club for four years and is delighted with the new scheme’s additional benefits.

Practice manager Sue Wilson said: “The scheme offers clients the opportunity to pay for preventive health care via direct debit over 12 months.

This not only spreads the cost for our clients, but it also ensures their pets receive regular flea and worm products throughout the year in conjunction with a host of other benefits along the way.

“The collaboration between practices within the XLVets group to create this scheme demonstrates the benefits of working together, exploring new ideas and sharing experiences.”
