Vets looking to learn about the latest approaches to antibiotic stewardship are being encouraged to attend a symposium webinar in January 2015.
Led by professor David Lloyd and BVA president John Blackwell, the webinar precedes the first 24 hour CPD webinar Virtual Congress to take place the following day, the organisers have announced.
In association with the BVA, the symposium takes place on January 9 from 10am to 1pm and will set the scene for the third international veterinary webinar Virtual Congress, which starts at midnight on Saturday January 10.
Webinar Vet founder Anthony Chadwick said the demand is high for more information on the practical aspects for vets prescribing antibiotics.
“David Lloyd and John Blackwell are leaders in this issue and will be able to guide delegates through this challenging subject, from practical application to the political drivers steering antibiotic use.”
The pre-congress morning session will be followed by another hot topic, “What’s new in social media”, led by William Lindus of Beyond Indigo Pets. The session runs from 2pm to 5pm.
Both events are open to non-members as well as members. For more information, including BVA discounts or to reserve a place visit www.theinternationalwebinarvet.com
