The Paralympic champion and world record-breaking athlete proved a big hit at the event, held at the Lancaster London hotel on 17 March.

As well as the smooth delivery of Mr Crates’ compering, guests were also treated to surprise soprano singing waiters, haute cuisine and the dulcet tones of the “voice of the balls”, Alan Dedicoat.

Nineteen awards were handed out to showcase skill, creativity and professionalism in veterinary and animal health marketing.
