Virbac has taken over the distribution of the topical ectoparasiticide range Activyl, expanding the company’s growing parasiticide portfolio. 

Activyl logoActivyl, a prescription-only range of products, is available in three spot-on preparations: Activyl for Dogs and Activyl for Cats provide effective flea control, with Activyl Tick Plus for targeted tick and flea control in dogs.

‘Knowledge and expertise’

Based on the active ingredient indoxacarb, the product is effective against flea life stages developing in the immediate environment of the pet.

Virbac product manager Kate Woolley said: “Virbac is a global leader in parasitology and is using its knowledge and expertise to develop a portfolio of award-winning products. We are delighted to add Activyl to our range of parasiticides.”
