Animal health company Virbac has appointed a new corporate territory manager for the south of England.
Nichola Jenkins – known as Nikki – will be responsible for developing Virbac’s relationships with corporate veterinary practices across the region and for building sales of the company’s range of small animal products. She joins Virbac from Wey Referrals in Woking where she was a member of the management team.
Miss Jenkins – who has a background in veterinary nursing – said she thinks Virbac offers “the widest range of products for small animals in the UK to practices”, many of which are “award-winning or market leaders“.
“We aim to build successful partnerships with corporate practices, offering them not only effective products that will help them provide a high level of care to patients, but also the marketing and technical support services that will help their business grow.”
Virbac sales manager Bryan McCabe said the corporate sector is continuing to show rapid growth, carving a “strong niche” in the veterinary sector.
“Corporate businesses have specific needs and service requirements so we felt the time is now right to offer them a dedicated territory manager,” he said. “Nikki’s understanding and experience of the corporate sector will enable her to provide the tailored support they need.”
