A VIP trip for two people to visit the set of ITV’s This Morning is just one of the lots going “under the hammer” to raise funds for rescue charity Tree of Life for Animals in a special eBay for Charity auction.

The prize entitles two people to visit ITV’s multi-award-winning daytime show, where they will get a VIP backstage tour, before watching the show live in the studio, while getting the chance to get up close to a mix of presenters, experts and celebrity guests.

The online auction, which goes live today (June 19, 214), also includes the chance to bid on:

  • a beauty bag from Heat magazine, worth more than £400
  • a signed set of books from “Queen of the Bonkbusters” Jo Carnegie

Founded by British veterinary nurse Rachel Wright in 2005, Tree of Life for Animals (TOLFA) runs an animal hospital and rescue centre in Rajasthan, India. The number of animals it rescues, treats, neuters and vaccinates is growing daily with more than 300 animals now receiving treatment every day.

However, the charity is in desperate need of funds to continue its vital work – hence the eBay for Charity Auction, which is taking place during Small Charity Week (June 16-21), which aims to celebrate and recognise the work of small charities across the UK.

UK manager Clara Nowak said: “Our auction lots are amazing, particularly the visit to ITV’s This Morning. The winner of this lot will be able to go with a friend to watch the show live at its Southbank Studios. It will be a fantastic day out.

“The hard work of the TOLFA team continues but there is great suffering in the animal population in India and we are constantly struggling to keep up with the demand for the help we can offer. We hope lots of people will bid for these lots and help us raise funds to continue working.

“We’d also be delighted to hear from any veterinary practices who might be interested in raising awareness of our work or fundraising for us. Spreading the word and fundraising are so important and will enable the TOLFA team to continue its vital work.”
