A team of staff and their families from Billingshurst-based Genitrixhas raised more than £1,500 for the NSPCC by taking part in the charity’sBig Bike Ride fundraising event.
Genitrix also matched the sponsorship pledges. The team, headed by the company’s founder and managing director, Howard Wilder, opted for a 25km route which started and finished from Christ’s Hospital School in Horsham, Sussex on July 19.
The route took them through mixed terrain around Horsham, including Sedgwick Park and the castle ruins.
Other team members from the veterinary therapies supplier included marketing director Rob Watkins, admin director Rachel Lucas Wilder, head of customer services, Anna Lake, and Mr Wilder’s children Emma (15) and Faith (12).
Commenting on their participation in the event, Mr Wilder said: “It has become a company tradition to contribute to worthy causes and we all very much enjoyed it. We would like to thank all of our sponsors for their generous donations.”
