Technology should make running your practice easier, more efficient and more profitable. To make sure you’re doing things right SPVS and VPMA are holding a “Technology Day” in Solihull on October 11, 2012.
Technology should make running your practice easier, more efficient and more profitable. If it doesn’t, you haven’t got it right!
So, to help make sure you’re knowledgeable about networking and up to date with your dongles, the Society of Practising Veterinary Surgeons (SPVS) have joined forces with the Veterinary Practice Managers Association (VPMA) to hold a “Technology Day” in Solihull on October 11, 2012.
This one day whistle-stop round of workshops and trade stands will bring you up to speed on what you need… and what your competitors may well already have.
Exhibitors will include providers of practice management systems, website designers, social media consultants and telecommunication system suppliers.
The event will also play host to a number of workshops covering a range of technology and new applications relevant to modern veterinary practice. In each case these workshops will explain the relevance and possible applications of new technology to your practice.
Workshops will include:
- Vet:Client communication in 2022
- Cloud computing explained
- Telephone system technology
- Smartphones and tablet technology for vets
- Top websites reviewed
- Google masterclass
- Client data that works for you
- Loyalty cards
- Embracing IT change.
The SPVS & VPMA Technology Day costs £100 for SPVS/VPMA members (or £150 for non-members) and will be held at the Village Hotel in Solihull, from 9:30am to 5pm on October 11, 2012.
