Royal Canin has announced the winners of its annual Summer of the Cat “best display” competition.

As part of a campaign to help small animal practices develop their relationships with cat owners, the pet food manufacturer searched for the best displays in UK veterinary practices.

The Oakfield Veterinary Group, based in Castle Bromwich, West Midlands, was crowned the winner after submitting photos of its waiting room display.

The practice won £100 in High Street vouchers in addition to the £10 voucher every practice received for entering.

Royal Canin’s Marianne Lomberg said: “The display competition was just one element of this year’s summer feline campaign, which also featured reduced price diets, a free display package and the opportunity for cat owners to feed a rescue cat for a day with each pet food purchased.

“The display element allowed our practices to give free rein to their creativity and we saw some really fantastic waiting room areas, which were a joy to judge.

“We’d like to express our thanks to everyone who took part in the competition and we’re confident initiatives like this will really help to increase loyalty at participating veterinary practices.”
