Team members from White Cross Vets treat their families to a day of activities, food, dancing and fun at the company’s annual family barbeque.
Team members from a burgeoning veterinary company treated their families to a day of fun and frivolities as White Cross Vets hosted its annual family barbecue.
Held at picturesque Ayden Farm in Keighley, West Yorkshire, the home of the company’s clinical director Craig Harrison and his wife Val, the event saw nearly 140 team members, partners and children enjoy activities including quad biking, laser clay shooting and archery, as well as a bouncy castle, a falconry display and a children’s entertainer.
There was also the chance to learn circus skills and later, after the barbecue, to partake in a disco. The particularly brave pitched up a tent to camp overnight to sing songs around campfires, and were rewarded with bacon and sausage sandwiches and pastries the next morning.
Craig’s son Tim Harrison, the managing director of White Cross, who attended with his family, said: “As a family-based practice it’s great to see so many team members having a great time together with their partners and children.
“With children’s quad bikes, laser clay shooting and songs around the camp fire there really was something for everyone.”
