A revolutionary device for the treatment and management of equine tendon and ligament injuries officially launches at the annual BEVA Congress (September 7-10), where demonstrations of its use will be given on the VetCell stand number 528.
The EqueStride Tendon Support System is said to be a “ground-breaking solution to treating and managing flexor tendon and suspensory ligament injuries in horses”.
The “innovative” device provides adjustable, controlled support from the acute injury through the entire recovery period back to full fitness.
It follows many years of meticulous research, design and development by design engineer Andrew Daly in collaboration with the world’s leading equine orthopaedic scientists.
Extensive tests on the the EqueStride Tendon Support have been conducted, both under laboratory and real life conditions, at the Royal Veterinary College.
