ANYONE interested in practice management and ownership can now register for next year’s joint VMPA/SPVS congress.
The event is to take place at the Heythrop Park golf and leisure resort near Oxford from January 24-26, 2013, featuring two full days of CPD on the Friday and Saturday.
VMPA secretary Maria Barratt said: “This is your congress ¬– with an exciting two-day programme of in-depth CPD for everyone with a management interest in practice.”
She added: “Don’t miss this opportunity to bring along your whole team – there is something for everyone in the agenda. Lectures will be identified as ‘refresher’ or ‘advanced’ so whether you’re new to management or a seasoned veteran, you’ll find something here.”
Lecture streams will include personal development, staff performance and management and practice health and finance, with speakers including business psychologist Helen Frewin and veterinary consultant Karen Felsted.
Full CPD registration costs £253.50 for VPMA/SPVS members and £379.50 for non-members, with discounted prices for students and new graduates, as well as discounts for practice registrations.
Delegates can access the substantially discounted member rates by using the password “vpma!1” when prompted online.
