Veterinary nurses wishing to remain on the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons List/Register of Veterinary Nurses are reminded that any outstanding retention fees need to be received by the college on or before December 31, 2012.
The college will be writing to all VNs whose fees have not been received, and has assured will not remove those veterinary nurses from the list/register whose fees have been paid (and have cleared) by December 31.
VNs can pay their retention fees in one of three ways:
Payment can be made at www.rcvs.org.uk using the individual log-in numbers contained within the fee letters sent in October. VNs who have mislaid their log-in numbers can email email@example.com, including their full name, date of birth, address on the register/list, and badge number (engraved on the back of their VN badge).
- BANK TRANSFER
Payments can also be made by bank transfer using the details from the fee letter.
For payments made by cheque, the name of the veterinary nurse and their register/list number needs to be written on the back. Cheques need to be received by the RCVS before December 21, 2012 and the payment to have cleared by December 31.
The retention fee for veterinary nurses is due annually by November 1.
