A referral practice has created a brand new, fully equipped lecturetheatre, providing a useful resource for internal and external teaching.

The spacious new theatre at Davies Veterinary Specialists (DVS), Hertfordshire, has been created in the practice’s former library, which has been relocated. It can accommodate up to 50 people and has built-in audio-visual equipment, including a ceiling-mounted projector and speakers.

The facility is already in regular use as a comfortable venue for evening CPD programmes for both vets and vet nurses, with referring practices eligible to attend free of charge.

Jerry Davies, managing director of DVS, said: “We are lucky to have had the space and flexibility to create an on-site lecture theatre. Feedback has been very positive from both staff and visitors, who seem impressed with the upgraded audio visuals and improved comfort.”
