The Pet Doctors team from Seaford triumphed in an event held on July 5 to mark the town’s Fun day.
The event, organised by Seaford Town Council, Wave Leisure and supported by the Town’s two Rotary Clubs raised over £2,500 for the two nominated Charities, Chestnut Tree House (a Sussex-based Children’s Hospice) and Rotary’s Global Polio Eradication Campaign.
Thirteen teams took part in a replica of the once popular TV show. The team from Pet Doctors was judged the overall winner with points awarded for performance, style and determination in completing the course.
Grant Divall from the victorious Pet Doctors team said: “The Pet Doctors team had a blast at the event. It was a great day and we were delighted to win – even if the stiffness in our muscles has been causing us to move rather delicately round the surgery this week. We were also delighted to help raise funds for two such important local charities.”
