The British Veterinary Orthopaedic Association (BVOA) has launched its re-designed association logo and website, with a little help from BSAVA.
The British Veterinary Orthopaedic Association (BVOA) has launched its re-designed association logo and website.
Working with in-house expertise from BSAVA the new logo and website were both given a refresh with a loose brief from the BVOA committee to bring it up-to-date. The new logo retains the organisation name from the old logo, but has been brought up to date by replacing the three canine skeletal images with a stylised canine knee joint.
BVOA member-at-large Gareth Arthurs said: “We had a lot of affection for our old logo and it was at times difficult to envisage how the new logo would compare. We went through a number of concept logos before coming to our final choice but in the end, I was surprised at how quick and easy the logo re-design was. We now have a new logo and website that has a clean, fresh and very contemporary feel [and] is easy to navigate.”
The new website is built on a simple to use content management system which allows the BVOA to make amendments to the site, including copy changes or adding image and hyperlinks, at any time.
Mr Arthurs said the BVOA was “very pleased with the end result” and that “this allows BVOA to present itself to the world of web browsers as a modern organisation in a way that we feel is attractive and reflects well on us”.
The BSAVA was keen to support the BVOA, being an affiliated group, and offer its expertise and staff resources throughout the project.
