SPVS has joined forces with VPMA to satisfy a growing demand for well-run, relevant, management training aimed not just at practice owners, but at their vets, nurses, receptionists, and practice managers.

The programme has been designed so that each event stands alone but, taken together, they offer complementary skills to improve overall practice performance

SPVS has joined forces with VPMA to launch training courses for the whole practice team.Topics covered in the new Spring & Summer programme include:

  • Business planning
  • Communication skills
  • Marketing
  • Health and safety
  • Change management

Each course will have a professional facilitator and will include a mix of lectures, case studies, interactive workshops and/or panel Q&A sessions.

Partners for the first events are Hazlewoods, Onswitch and Pfizer’s business consultancy division, VetSupport+. Alongside these will be some surprises, including guest speakers from outside the profession who will share their experience of retail, management or marketing. The programme is generously sponsored by Citation.

The courses have been very competitively priced and acknowledge the importance of including the whole team by offering substantial discounts for multiple bookings.

The relaunch of the CPD programme coincides with a new look SPVS website, where you can find out more about the courses and book online.
