Vicky Standen has been appointed as companion animal product manager at Virbac – a role that will see her manage the company’s portfolio of small animal vaccines, diagnostics and key dermatology products.
Vicky, who first joined the company in December 2012 from the human health sector,
takes on the role following a year spent with the company as a territory manager
, looking after veterinary practices in Kent, Surrey and Sussex.
Her new role will also see her take responsibility for practice support services offered by Virbac to its customers, many of which are delivered via its practice support portal at www.my-virbac.co.uk.
Vicky said: “I’m looking forward to my new role as product manager and to using my field sales experience to add a new dimension to Virbac’s marketing strategies. I’m excited about the portfolio of products I’m responsible for and at the opportunity to work as part of the marketing team.”
Vicky will report to companion animal marketing manager Simon Boulton, who said: “Her background in human health combined with the year she has spent working closely with our customers in the South East of England gives her a fresh perspective on the challenges facing practices and how we can best support them. We are delighted to welcome her to the marketing team.”
