Mrs Woodbridge’s new role will see her focus on building awareness and sales of the range, which is sold exclusively through UK veterinary practices.

Vet Complex is a premium dry pet food range, developed and manufactured by Virbac, which offers a compact range of “highly palatable” life stage and clinical diets for dogs and cats.

Mrs Woodbridge graduated from the Royal Veterinary College in 2008, after which she worked in small animal practice for several years. She joined Virbac in 2013 as a pet food territory manager and, after two years in that position, has been promoted to the role of pet food manager.

She said: “Nutrition is a key aspect of animal health and the recommendation of quality preventive and clinical diets is an important part of veterinary practice. The Vet Complex range is already one of the leading nutrition brands in France and is proving popular with practices in the UK.

“Taking the brand forward and expanding our pet food business is an exciting opportunity. Virbac has a broad and fast-growing product portfolio and I’m looking forward to shaping the future of our pet food sector.”
